From the desk of Camaro West
In an increasingly online world, stories often go viral stripped of their context. Film offers something deeper: the ability to explore the lived realities behind the images that flash across our screens. The genocide in Gaza captured global attention in part because Palestinians could share their own stories online and be seen. But social media alone cannot hold the full weight of those stories.
One such story is the feature film All That’s Left of You by filmmaker, actress, and writer Cherien Dabis. Through our impact partnership, we helped educate new audiences about the history of Palestine from the Nakba through its continued impact today. The community screening toolkit we created continues to support screening partners to mobilize audiences by channeling their emotional responses to the film into action that upholds Palestinian human rights.
Following a successful impact campaign, this quarter we are proud to highlight the film’s growing impact on audiences nationwide.
With care,

From Screenings to Solidarity
In 2026, Peace is Loud helped bring All That’s Left of You to audiences beyond the theater by connecting the film with partners, students, organizers, and community screening hosts. This early outreach laid the groundwork for deeper community engagement, helping more people encounter the film and carry its message forward.
